🌸 Morani Blog — Strawberry Smiles & Grace 🌸

✦ ───── 🌸 ───── ✦

Some moments as a mother feel so small in the moment…
yet somehow become the memories that stay wrapped around your heart forever.

Tonight was one of those moments.

The girls sat together in their matching strawberry jumpers, little feet wiggling in their high chairs while sunlight drifted softly through the windows. Aneres was especially excited about snack time, bouncing happily and clapping her hands while Adaeze quietly rubbed her tummy and softly admitted she was hungry.

And honestly?
Watching their tiny personalities continue to blossom has become one of the sweetest gifts of motherhood.

Aneres is expressive, bubbly, and always eager to celebrate every little thing:

“snack time! yay!”

While Adaeze is gentle and soft-spoken, often responding with the sweetest little smiles:

“…thank you…”

As I prepared their snacks, the girls chatted back and forth with one another, making each other giggle and smile. Those little sister moments melt my heart every single time.

But one of the moments that touched me most tonight happened before they began eating.

I asked them:

“Did you say Grace before you starting eating?”

And immediately their tiny hands folded.

Adaeze softly whispered:

“…thank you God…”

And Aneres quickly followed:

“thank you God… food… mama…”

🌸 Morani Blog — Little Miracles in the Backyard 🌸

There is something incredibly beautiful about slowing down long enough to witness childhood in its softest moments.

This evening, the girls spent time outside together near the sandbox while the warm glow of sunset wrapped around our backyard. Fairy lights twinkled softly through the trees, little pink balloons danced in the breeze, and the entire yard felt peaceful in the kind of way only home can feel.

Adaeze sat quietly on the left, gently holding her little strawberry toy while observing everything around her with those thoughtful eyes of hers. She has such a calm spirit — always taking in the world slowly and softly.

Meanwhile, Aneres sat beside her, bright-eyed and curious as always, looking around at every tiny thing happening nearby. She brings so much energy and light into every room she enters.

Watching them together reminded me again how different children can be, even when raised in the same home and surrounded by the same love.

One gentle.
One expressive.
Both deeply precious.

As the girls played, I found myself reflecting on how quickly these little moments pass.

The sandbox won’t stay full of tiny footprints forever.
The little socks and strawberry jumpers won’t always fit.
And one day these tiny hands reaching for Mama will become grown hands building lives of their own.

That realization makes me cherish these evenings even more.

The Morani home has always been built around warmth, faith, family, and togetherness. I want our children to grow up remembering:
✨ laughter in the backyard
✨ prayer before meals
✨ hugs from Daddy
✨ bedtime stories
✨ soft music in the house
✨ and the comfort of knowing they were deeply loved

Tonight felt like one of those memories being quietly written into our family story.

The lights glowed softly around the yard while the girls sat side by side together, and for a moment the world felt still.

No rush.
No noise.
Just love.

And honestly?
Those are the moments I thank God for the most.

🌸 SCRIPTURE

✨
“Children are an heritage of the Lord.”
— Psalm 127:3 ✨

✨“Her children arise up, and call her blessed.”
— Proverbs 31:28 ✨

✨ A Beautiful Reminder

As a mother striving to raise her children rooted in faith, moments like that remind me why I keep choosing grace, patience, and love every single day.

Not perfection.
Just love.
Just guidance.
Just planting seeds.

Before stepping away to prepare for their pictures, I reminded the girls:

“Call Daddy if you need anything okay. Love you.”

And hearing their tiny voices answer back:

“love you mama…”

…was the kind of simple moment that makes an entire home feel warm.

This season of motherhood may be busy and exhausting at times, especially while preparing for our newest little blessing to arrive, but it is also overflowing with beauty.

Tiny hands.
Tiny voices.
Tiny prayers.

And a whole lot of love.
